How Our Carpets Are Made

Hand-Knotting

Hand-Weaving

Each carpet is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans who tie thousands of knots by hand on traditional looms. This detailed process can take weeks or even months, depending on the size and complexity of the design. The result is a rug rich in texture, durability, and character.

Hand Finishing

Hand-Tufting

After weaving, every carpet undergoes careful hand finishing. Skilled craftsmen trim, wash, and stretch the rug to enhance its texture and bring out the clarity of the design, ensuring a refined and lasting finish.

In hand-tufted carpets, artisans use specialized tools to insert yarn into a canvas backing, creating intricate patterns and textures. This technique allows for detailed designs while maintaining the handcrafted essence of the carpet.

Regular Vacuuming

Rotate Periodically

Regular vacuuming helps remove dust, dirt, and debris that can settle deep into the fibers of your carpet. Vacuum gently once or twice a week using a suction-only setting to preserve the texture and structure of the weave.

To ensure even wear and consistent color exposure, rotate your carpet every few months. This helps prevent fading from sunlight and reduces pressure marks from furniture placed on the rug.

Handle Spills Immediately

Professional Cleaning

In case of spills, blot the area gently with a clean, dry cloth to absorb the liquid. Avoid rubbing, as it can push the stain deeper into the fibers. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent diluted in water.

For deeper cleaning, have your carpet professionally cleaned every 12–18 months. Professional care helps maintain the integrity of the fibers and keeps your carpet looking vibrant for years.
